Unlike most of the UK and Europe, most of the heavy snow has missed the Lakes, well moreso Wasdale.
Here are a few of my excursions over the past weeks.
November 30 clearing snow off the Wasdale road, we did not get gritted till yesterday 22 Dec thank you Cumbria County Council.

Dec 7th
The Dream, skiing up and down Seatallan, telemarking through light powder on a firm base.
The reality, crusty crud and tussocks that doesnt quite bear your weight, step turns, kick turns and squaddie turns. Those are the ones where you flail your arms around like a demented windmill, then throw yourself into the snow in blind panic as... you start to hurtle towards tussocks that look suspiciously like boulders in the dark!!!!
What a great afternoon, traversed backwards and forwards down Seatallan.

Returning from Seatallan, its absolutely freezing nearly got frostbite taking this photo. Note to myself must get some liner gloves.

Misty, windy day on Buckbarrow, Wastwater? its behind you!!!! (A bit of a pantomime).Ho Ho Ho.

Shelter from the weather. 5 mins cutting blocks with a ski tail makes a snug place to change boots and have lunch
waiting for the sunset.
Dec 11th
Snow cover on the Scafell's, I put away my ski's and get out my bike.
Dec 18th
More snow, with night time temps down to -20 in the field, and daytime temps -5.
I've put the bike away and dusted of my jangly bits. Heading for Great End via Skew Ghyll
After an exciting trip over rotting ice and snow bridges I got to the head of the ghyll.
.
Another exciting 15 mins on rubbish ice saw me at the top of the ghyll heading for Cust Gully.
The top of Cust's Gully, here the snow is hard in fantastic condition. I front point up and out with a cracking walk onto the top of Gt. End.
The walk from here via Calf cove, Sprinkling tarn and Styhead to the car at Wasdale Head took me an agonising 3hrs as Carol's flu bug hit me.
